Chaos detection scheme for multiple variable-frequency signals with overlapping frequencies

Abstract As one of the most critical technologies in signal detection, weak detection has received a great deal attention many areas. Traditional methods perform well when number is single and form simple, which are quite different from situation some real applications (e.g., marine communication scenario). In this paper, we consider problem high-precision frequency multiple variable-frequency signals with overlapping frequencies (MVFS-O) low signal-to-noise ratio scenario, whose key point how to detect parameters (frequency range modulation rate) each signal. To solve problem, novel chaos scheme based on Duffing difference oscillator proposed. scheme, wide state used determine quickly, Lyapunov exponent discriminate output system qualitatively. Furthermore, combining time points periodic system, can obtain FMR corresponding by analyzing ratio. Numerical results provided verify practical effectiveness proposed scheme.
